I'll believe it when I see it in context. Easy to photoshop something and put it on the web.

Phillip I PS'ed it for my blog the pic on the right is the unaltered icon.
the pic on the left is a magnification of it. You can doubt me if you like, but I have nothing to gain, I just thought it was funny. In fact just for you I just uploaded two screen caps:

    and

I hope this satiates your doubtfulness.

I am good at PS but not even I can do it this fast!

@Phillip: This is not the first place I've seen this. I saw it earlier in a Norwegian IT news site. And it is called manipulate, not Photoshop. Photoshop is just one of many raster graphics editors on the market.

@xen ix Sorry, I used Photoshop as a generic like kleenex or xerox. I'm aware that Photoshop is one of many graphic editors on the market.

    Mario: I sit corrected ;-)

    (a) I didn't realize it was YOUR cap (b) I just thought you were linking to something and it isn't as if no one has ever pranked this kind of stuff before - right? :-D

NP Phillip and for the record I call it Photoshopping too. ;>

who says " i manipulated" the image... photoshop is an accepted verb.. unless you work for adobe.
  • xen y. xen y. replied Oct 29th
I worked for Adobe, but I use GIMP. And how silly wouldn't it be to say, I gimped it. =)

And when I see a shovel, I call it a shovel. I don't make up words for it. Soon we will be speaking the "cityspeak" from Bladerunner. ;)
