Public The only thing that would be nice is the ability to link to a "partial" in other words a reply to a note. Unless i'm really missing something, so that I can link to a reply rather than a full note, without using an anchor.

Public Most likely going for Gearman MQ (tried and tested by Live Journal, Digg etc) for Mesh. Also using MySQL, Nginx out front, with Apache + mod_wsgi at the back, with Memcached. Ubuntu on the servers. Used Debian for years, and it finally became a pain in the ass.

Public This reminds me of a conversation I had with friends a few weeks ago about what you should keep in your house for guests. We agreed on a clean hand towel, toilet paper, and liquid hand soap.
