 novation and creativity in Rochester. It reminds me of another festival we
  hosted all over downtown\, plus the Eastman House\, Memorial Art Gallery\
 , and Visual Studies Workshop. Though Montage '93 cost $3 million to produ
 ce and drew emerging talent from all over North America\, it failed to gar
 ner sufficient worldwide participation and sponsors\, including Kodak and 
 Xerox\, which each ponied up $1 million\, for it to happen again four year
 s hence\, as founder and Visual Studies Workshop Nathan Lyons had dreamed.
  \n\nThe exhibition list announced so far seems a bit parochial\, but i ho
 pe it goes further. Unfortunately i just learned of it\, and the deadline 
 for proposals has long since passed. At least this post ought now create a
  hCalendar  microformat for event scrapers such as Eventful and Pingerati 
 to syndicate onto the Web. Someone there should create an official Upcomin
 g event for it.
