MY RAMBLINGS...Ok, so it's still just theoretical but I'm really freaking excited. After my archaeological field school in Finland, I might be able to spend an entire summer in Ireland for a different field school. You have no idea how much I'm freaking out right now. It's all bent on whether his grant goes through, but he replied to my e-mail and said my help would be invaluable. I'm not entirely sure why, but, he is one of my advisor's grad students. (My advisor is the one who took me to Finland last summer and this upcoming one as well), that's the only reason I would think that, but it's crazy, cause he "sang my praises", but. I. just. don't. get. it. You have no idea how much I have wanted to go to Ireland, my entire life! I (as well as many people, I'm sure)have family from there and my granmother always wanted to go, her mother was from there. She always wanted to meet her cousins. Unfortunatly she's in a nursing home now and I'm perpetually in 8th grade in her mind, but she's still fucking hysterical and I love her. When/if this thing goes through, I can't wait to tell her!
