Wow, I haven't been on Pownce on wayyyyy too long. Twitter has gotten the best of me. ;) Installing the AIR client so I remind myself to post some things every once in a while.

    To me, Twitter is to spastic for conversation but good for quick updates.

    Pownce allows deeper conversations as well as sharing.

    I also use Jaiku which is halfway in between, but I like the Pownce interface and setup much more than either of the other two

    I deleted my Twitter account. Frivolity and frosties galore, some would bore.

    Yeah, it's been months since I've pownced and I just started up again yesterday. It's good to be back!

    I really only use Twitter for events. So if I'm at a conference, I'll turn on notifications for everyone at the conference. Great for that. Not great for sharing files, links, or thoughts that require some discussion.
