I think it's time to stop listening to the Security Now podcast. Just overheard Leo bagging on .NET because the installer is bigger than Steve's SpinRite executable. So many times on these casts Leo would do so much better just keeping his mouth shut on stuff he's ignorant about; like the old saying goes. Plus, while Steve generally has a pretty good grasp on most of their subject matter (only minor issues I'd disagree with), I just can't take the cheesy ads and endless spinrite pimping letters anymore.

    Wow, rereading that this morning and it sounds a bit harsh on Leo. I guess it just bugs me when any tech journalists don't understand something that they're talking about but then try to use that as a basis to make some other point, and it bugs me even more when you know that a lot of people listen to them and probably just implicitly believe whatever they say.
