I've found through trial and error, that the inability to synchronize my many calendars and schedules has the potential to lead to really nasty screw-ups or conflicts. Yes, it's time for a smartphone.

But I'm cheap AND broke, so it appears that I will be purchasing a Motorola Q today, as it's $99 after discounts and rebates.

Syncing with Lotus Notes at work, and iCal at home will be an interesting hodgepodge of third party utilities.

The lack of a touchscreen (as opposed to the slightly more expensive Treos) is a bummer, but I'm hoping the nav buttons plus the scroll wheel will be intuitive and capable enough.
