K, someone flip a coin for me: Twitter or Pownce? I keep going back to Twitter, but there are some folks that don't use it anymore as they're now on Pownce... but there's 'something' about Pownce I don't quite like, can't put my finger on it.

Ugh, dilemmas!

    Both, I'd say. I've always regarded Twitter as more casual (just shoot some ideas and thoughts around), whereas Pownce has become a real social network to me.

    I'd agree Nils, but I've been avoiding Pownce for one reason or another. I think I just don't get the same kind of responses here as I do on Twitter.

    I'll keep trying to balance both I think.. just need to find the right kind of stuff to write here on Pownce I guess.

    or try something different and start anew on jaiku or hictu...

    Pownce is still evolving. I would venture to say that Pownce will only get better. The only thing I miss about Twitter is the SMS integration.

    I just simply never know what to write here. Twitter's great for simply sharing a quick link or a status update (I actually like the character limit) or mini rants/raves. One can write an entire blog post on Pownce, but I have, you know, an actual blog for that.

    So, what exactly IS Pownce for? How do you guys use it? How does it fit in your daily routine? I started off loving it until I realized that it just seemed pointless to post here AND Twitter all the time, I have mostly all the same friends on each. Maybe for me it's just still missing some stuff, something like a PownceThis bookmarklet, I dunno (yes, I'm all too aware that that kind of stuff is coming soon, I was one of the first to hop on the Pownce bandwagon).

    i use twitter most to note "i'm currently..." and rarely ever go there to read anymore. i use my blog for actual blog posts. i use pownce for everything in between.
