A few of my fave macro photos from 2007. Can't wait for the insects to come back! :)

Spectacular. I never really got into macro work, I do have some closeup filters though. What equipment are you using?

I'm using a 35mm macro lens from Olympus. It's incredible sharp, but sometimes I wish it had a bit longer reach so I don't have to get so close to the insects.
Drooling on a 105mm from Sigma or even the 150mm. Need to save up some money for the insect season :)

Nice. I have a Nikon D200. Most of my work is done with zoom. I use a Sigma 170-55mm ,+ either a tripod, monopod, or POD. I really want a fast 300mm or 400mm lens, but Damn! they are expensive. Check out some of my photos.

You've got some really great shots. Have you considered submitting any to ShutterSphere?

thom, that hermit crab is so cool. i am going to start checking out the tidal pools around here. my camera has a macro mode, it is tricky to focus but that just looks so cool i have to try.
