San Francisco people, can anyone recommend a good and reasonably priced place to get some art framed?

Cheap Pete's is supposedly awesome - it's the go-to place for anyone wanting to frame their concert posters (that makes it sound down & dirty, which it's not, it's just affordable.) http://www.yelp.com/bi...

Cheap pete's I've done a bunch of times. I had one piece done with the UV glass, archival matte, etc, it came out to about $300 something. (It's about 2.5 feet by 3.5 feet).

If you have a standard-sized piece, they have tons ready-made, also which I've gotten. FastFrame in the marina is supposedly similar.

If you want the ~$1000 per piece range, Painter's Place in Hayes Valley does artisinal-level framing. We've gotten all of our office art done there, really amazing work.
