Trying to find out why Vimeo is breaking my CSS. Any ideas? I don't know anything about CSS!

When I cut out this, it fixed it: "<param name="quality" value="best"></param>
<param name="allowfullscreen" value="true"></param>
<param name="scale" value="showAll"></param>
<param name="movie" value="http://www.vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=641802&server=www.vimeo.com&fullscreen=1&show_title=0&show_byline=0&show_portrait=0&color=00adef"></param>"

How is it screwing it up? Can you put it back in for about 5 min, I have FB on can see what the code is doing maybe?

I actually figured out what the issue is: For some reason, Wordpress is moving the </object> tag to immediately follow the <object type=...> declaration whenever I hit "save."
I figured out if I remove the formatting and add the </object> where it belongs, it solves the problem. I don't know why this is, though...

What if you switch to "code edit" when you paste the embed in, then go back to WYSIWYG editor to finish the post?

cmiper is correct, you have to leave the wysiwyg editor but if you go back to it in that post it will still screw everything up. I learned this via youtube inserts.

I stopped using the WYSIWYG editor. There is an option somewhere to get rid of it completely. I really don't think it's useful at all, and it just gets in the way of writing code.

Yes, for any widget or embedding, I always turn off WYSIWYG editing. However, make sure to keep it off if you go back and edit that post later.
