This made my day. When a high school softball player hit a home run but was injured, girls from the opposing team helped her round the bases.

    Very nice story.

    That college is just a few minutes away from me. I remember reading the story in the local paper. I love living in Oregon. Nice people, and they collectively have an independent streak a mile wide.
