I would say progress bars are cool. It's much more uncooler not to know what's going on and what to expect ))
    Cheers, whoever invented progress bars!!!

Happy Mozy user! Never have to worry about backing up to DVD's again. And it's pretty fast USA - Romania on fiber is around 1mbps.

well if you're going to take that attitude then maybe your backup will never finish missy! haha

I think they fixed it in Leopard, but apparently the loading bar for logging into Tiger wasn't actually linked to anything, it just drew a loading bar for the sake of drawing one.

also don't know if you use .mac at all but the icons spin the opposite way when they sync. it gets really annoying during a 4am coding stint. Don't worry the bugs been logged on radar ;p

I saw screw progress bars! Progress bars haven't changed at all since the ENIAC. (Of course, back then, they were lines of tape... and they still stalled at 99%!) I mean, really. They've been exactly the same for forever. "Progress" bars?! Progress, my ass! They're more like Regress bars. Or, maybe more appropriately, Aggression bars. When has a progress bar popped up and you reacted by jumping up on your chair and screaming out of your cubicle, "Oh God! I just LOVE progress bars!!!" When has that happened?! Never! That's when. Never.

So go to hell, progress bars. You've made no progress with me.
