Stuck for a few hours at the car dealer while I get service and a fuse for my lighter. Jen tossed some screws in it and shorted it out.

Your car has a lighter? I thought all lighters were replaced with "12VDC Automotive Power Outlets" on the advice of the Surgeon General.

I hear your pain. I need to spend time getting oil change and roadworthy cert this afternoon.

I usually like going to the dealer. Free Wi-Fi, coffee, beverages and nice comfy leather chairs. I usually go and look at the cars in the showroom too. Of course when I see the bill I see what pays for all the comfort.

I just tried the lighter in my car (which I bought 8 years ago) for the first time. Didn't work. Fail. Fortunately, there's another lighter in the center console (for use by the back seat passengers) that I can use instead for the time being.
