  • Public I've been through the day on an iced coffee with no name. It tasted good when I tried it again. After an iced coffee, you can remember your name, 'cause there ain't no way to fall asleep again. . . Props to America, the original is definitely better.

  • Public It's been about 9 months since my last Favored Freeware review, so I am proud to say that I finally got around to posting a brief review of Skitch. Sure, Skitch is a public beta, but it's free nonetheless.

  • Public For the record, HP's software for Mac sucks, it's buggy, and it's destructive! Now I have to go through a complete system restore from the latest backup, just because I wanted to setup my new scanner.

  • Public I usually don't spout off like this, but Target's mystationary system sucks! After customizing our invitation design, it turns out that Target doesn't even sell the paper that we chose. Worse yet, once we saved our "project", the system irreparably damaged our custom text and formatting. Sounds great, doesn't it? No, I think not.

  • Public Long-term writer's block is very frustrating. How do some people manage three or more blogs when I can't even formulate a single post?

  • Public Ok, both of our blogs are officially back online and no one knows what caused PHP 5 to crash over 20 hours ago. I guess I'll just pretend like it never happened.

  • Public So, apparently my hosting account's copy of PHP 5 has been down since 6AM this morning, which means that both my blog and Sarah's were unavailable for almost 20 hours today. We're still troubleshooting the issue, but I'd just like to say that we are still alive, and our blogs will be back shortly.

  • Public WordPress 2.5 has been released! It's a major update and I'm seeing some plugin incompatibility issues being raised in the support forums, so I think that I'll wait about a week before I update my blog.

  • Public If you installed the Leopard Graphics Update 1.0 and are having trouble using your MacBook Pro in closed-lid mode, try closing the lid immediately after pressing the power button, before the chime.

  • Public If you have applied the recent Leopard Graphics Update and can no longer use an external display with your Macbook Pro in lid-closed mode, try closing the lid immediately after pressing the power button, before the chime. I'll write a quick post tomorrow, after I've had a chance to research this further.
