Teething problems, you have an entertainment industry that wants to make more money from their content and have a greater say in the pricing while you have apple who want to retain their control of the industry and maintain their pricing policy.

Some believe that they will be back in 2008, but not if most the industry heavy weights pull out (Universal already has) to build other services leaving ITunes with no content, then Apple will have to toe the line; after all you can’t be number one if you don’t have anything to sell. But then again such a unified move is not that easy in a competitive industry and thus ITunes may have the last laugh.
