Pownce : Note From mmalone

If you're like me and always lose track of notes you've commented on you should check this out!

its a web app designed to show only your posts on OTHER people's notes. it also shows the replies in line on one page.

new this time: OAuth!!
other than that... nothing. :P that took much time to implement.

workarounds: you have to put in your username, i will find a way around that. but i just want to make sure it works for a few people as it is. if you get no notes showing. you may have goofed your login name. just logout and login again.

Yesssss, exactly what I was looking for. Really awesome.

Could use some touching up though, in FF3.0 the centre column seems so wide. Them again, I'm used to the narrow Pownce ones.

Yeah, I'd love it if we could have a view option from the drop-down menu on the homepage that did exactly this.

Actually, what we've been discussing is slightly different... we're talking about showing you replies that your friends/fans write on notes that you have access to. So, for example, if you're my friend and I reply to someone else's public note, you'll see it. If I comment on a non-public note that you have access to you'll also see it.

You still wouldn't see replies from non-friends who reply to the same note you replied to... So this would still be useful :).

No need to step on their feet! You should create some sort of badge or group especially for people who have contributed to Pownce. Give 'em something that not even a pro account has to show your appreciation.

Oh, and I'd love to have this _exact_ feature - only show me replies on note that _I_ comment on. I don't necessarily want to see everyones replies to every note out there that I have access to.

thanks for the love, i didn't even notice that you had put this up till i looked at referring URLs. a domain and live version will be up this weekend! (well.. as soon as the domain registration time thingy is done)

i will tell you guys the domain when its up. don't want to start a rush on something that doesn't work!
