Public This is my first "Muzik" posts. I am going to do Cover Mondays, Twofer' Tuesdays, ...... TGIFs. Since I missed yesterday I will make the Twofers covers to make up for monday.
First off take two newer bands that I really like and have them cover tracks from some of the godfathers of punk.

Public Crossing my fingers that the waters will stay away. We have flash flood warnings and the river is already flowing over the streets and almost up to the bridge level. Luckily we are still pretty dry. I just moved all my guitars, basses, and recording computers to the basement last week and I really don't want to move them all back up. Other than that not a bad morning ...

Public Almost done building my second homebrew guitar practice amp. My first one was right out of Make:zine but the wiring was screwed up and I burned out the ic. I am now working on my Ruby:amp mode and building it into an old Dewalt Drill case with 2 6inch speakers. I'll post up images and sound samples to my site when finished.

Public Another fun train ride. You don't realize how bad your posture is until you have to sit n a seat that has it's back completely vertical at a 90 degree angle. It was the only seat left (and now I know why) and I was just too tired to stand for an hour long ride this morning.

Public Interesting post on craigslist tonight. If anyone out there remembers the band Funeral Lunchmeat it looks like one of the members has moved to the US and is looking to reunite with another former member CaptainTralfaz that moved to California a few years after they broke up. I wonder if there will be any responses.
