Congrats! I switched to a macbook pro from a Sony Vaio a few months back.

This thing is so much faster than the MacBook 1st Gen

trying to decide whether to get a new MBPro or Air to upgrade my first gen MB. I just got the Air for my wife and currently using to type this post. Man, it's a dream to work on. I would love to have the power of the Pro...maybe i will wait on the End of Feb announcent if there will be a new Pro. So you really love it?

I think the Pro is great. It puts the MacBook to shame and thats saying something. It reminds me of a luxury car. I had a chance to see the Air last weekend. I was surprised to see that it was so sturdy. The one thing that didn't do it for me however was the integrated video. The CD thing isn't really that big of a deal, so far I've used one CD to install software. :)
