flight just went from $3,200 to $7,000. (coach was originally $3,000 - so chose first class for $3,200; which makes a diff for 15.5hrs)

damn Olympics making costs outrageous, I tried to fly back a few days earlier, cost went up $11,000. F that, work will just have to put up w/ my time away.

    I originally booked over a month ago, and was supposed to depart Thursday. Do to changes in plans, now departing on the 31st. But with the Olympics all the fares get expanded exponentially. Cheapest cost to change was $3,600; most expensive was $7,200. Company would normally just write it off, but we can delay project do to bad supply-chain issues.

    I've been looking @ emirates, it's 9K to go business. not up to paying that fee yet.

    flow singapore from SFO to HKG, their biz was equiv to most others first class....but it was on the 747, and the seats were not lay flat.
