why does netflix hate their users?

    Wow, that sucks. I think we actually dropped our extra queues a while back just because we almost never used them, but it's an awesome feature, and it sucks that they're getting rid of it, especially with no option to save / export some of your data (ratings, etc.)

    Seems like this particular feature would be critical in remaining competitive in this space. Maybe Blockbuster (or someone else) will pick it up (if they don't already have it) and step up their game in order to try to win over people left out by this move.

    If not Blockbuster, then it needs to be someone; obviously Netflix is getting a bit too comfortable with their position at the top of the mountain. Personally, I've always felt that Blockbuster (or some other big, brick & mortar chain video rental store) is in perfect position to eat Netflix's lunch if they could just get their act together.

    Hopefully this will push them towards that, and push others to enter the market to compete and eventually improve Netflix as well by pressuring them to the point that they can't pull crap like this.
