damnit! Rails is a huge pain to deploy! Why can't they make it simple like PHP?

    nick I agree with ya 100%... rails deployment is very complicated.

    try Passenger (aka mod_rails). you could also (takes long to start with but its useful for the future) write a Capistrano recipe that install everything from your local machine

    Red Davis - you are the man dude! Literally saw your suggestion, did some google fu, and ended up on a article with slicehost on how to configure it. The welcome screen for RoR is rocking and rolling now. Just need to get my application uploaded tomorrow! :-)

    Yup, its one of the main reasons I quit messing around with Rails. But Passenger looks pretty slick. I'll have to check it out.
