there seems to be no easy way. click on friends of friends... mouseover to find out the nicknames in case those are more familiar to you. that's my routine.

if you search your "real"l friends, you know its names - otherwise; "pownce_hopping" . or set a twitter indications . . .

At least Pownce has a search friends feature. I seem to remember something like that on Twitter once, but then it disappeared.

they really need a feature (ex: Facebook's Contact Importer) that searches through your email contacts to show you who in your contacts already has a pownce account so you can add them as friends.
