Stressing out about dconstruct a full eight weeks before I'm supposed to give my talk. Decided to talk on changing design practice when you're trying to find a new idea and when the whole web breaks out of the browser and data flows to your desktop, your widgets, your RSS readers, your physical appliances (and back again). Bit scared, as ever. Hate giving talks. Scare me crap-free.

Don't stress it. People are eager to hear this stuff, so if you get even just a small part of your thoughts around those issues together, you'll be golden.
Looking forward to it, actually.

It'll be cool - and I think a lot of people want to hear what you have to say. You could probably discuss the merits of crunchy over smooth peanut butter and people would be interested.

"...You could probably discuss the merits of crunchy over smooth peanut butter and people would be interested." Correct.
Sir, I have every confidence in your research and presentation. Your 2006 "Future of Web Apps" speech was ( and still is ) a huge influence on my work.

Sounds like a fantastic subject and I am really looking forward to it (in a no pressure kind of way).

Ooh, Microsoft Active Desktop?
Sorry.

I definitely want to see/hear that presentation. Could you take it on the road after dconstruct? Perhaps bring it to New York? :)

Conceivably. Although I'd have to write the thing first!
