Fascinating service this. Does anyone have a good grasp of how the privacy stuff works. If I reply to something that only twelve people can see, does that mean that only those twelve people see my reply, or does everyone see my reply?

Cos if it's the latter, it's really confusing and likely to get people into trouble and if it's the former then someone really needs to make that way way clearer.

Maybe the recipients get the added annoyance of an email telling them to click on a link too?

So, there are a few rough edges then!

At least you figured out how to share with more than 1 person. I ended up sharing with one person, then "forwarding" aka creating a new note shared with another person. I hate systems that make me feel like a lumbering tardron.

As you get older you get used to feeling like that more and more.

So was this original question ever resolved? If you send something to a group and someone replies, does everyone get notification?
  • Tom C. replied Jul 7, 2007
I'm pretty sure that what happens is that all the people that you were originally sending the note to get notifications of the reply—just like if it were a group e-mail that a friend of yours wrote and sent to three of their friends and you did reply all.
