  • Public I now have my new Nokia n95, it beats the crap out of the iPhone, hands down, and was FREE!!! on upgrade... sorry Apple, you have lost out.

    I have put a 6gig card in the Nokia and now have a 60gig iPod for sale on eBay ;-)

  • Public I have been testing the latest Ubuntu release for a while now and can confirm, this is the best yet. Easy to install most used programs, flash, java etc. Nice OS with a lot of cool toys. I recomend everyone checks this out when the final release comes out in 7 days time.

    For the record, the Beta has been totally stable, much more so than any Windows release ;-)

  • Public So on November 9th, the iPhone will be sold on O2 for £269. Does that mean that it will be £100 by January? ;o)
    I think I will just get a free Nokia N95 from 3, and get better call deals at the same time. The whole point of having a contract phone is NOT to pay for the handset (imho)

  • Public You gotta laugh at all the iPhone stuff in the USA (unless of course you were one of those ripped off!). a $200 price drop in what, 2 months????

    I own some Apple stuff and I like what I have but if I had bought that phone and the price dropped that much so soon, I would of been very, very angry with them.

    I am a fan of Linux and open source movement, so when I was given a Toshiba Satellite laptop, I decided this was going to be my 1st pure Linux laptop. That was 2 weeks ago and I hate to think how many distros later. The trouble you see is that I'm a fan of the Gnome desktop which doesn't seem to like the hardware ...
