What makes Pownce unique amongst all the other websites (social networking or otherwise) that keeps you coming back?

For me, it's the community. Everyone here is so engaged and real conversations happen (much better than Twitter). Not to mention I feel comfortable talking about just about any topic. :)

I come back because I'm bored. Almost like ADHD.

I do love the people on here. I would never get the feeling of belonging I get here, anywhere else.

I agree with you Julie. The Community here is what stays me tuning in.

secondly I'd say I love that with pownce you have no cap off on wordage. Deeper than twitter, yet less heavy heavy than LJ a place to come kick back and have fun.

It's like a zebra. a little more exotic that a horse without going overboard.

That's why I like it. I think what first got me interested was that it reminded me of the conversations one would have on newstoday, but without being cliquish and unfriendly.

What makes any social networking site unique amongst it's competitors/friends,is it's

ability to compell it's users to keeps you coming back would have to be it's unique

    identity. Like an addiction.

Every social community engages it's clients in real topical exchanges not necessary <> or

    than any other namespace.

Each User will have their own preference which may or may not be MET by a social network.
sometimes cross referencing different namespaces is necessary to bring the "wow factor", that a single domain may not be able to offer by itself alone.
