Not sure if everyone has seen this before, as it has been on the TED site for a while now. Just in case you did not see it yet, have a look.
I'm guessing this is the thing Microsoft is going to unveil on February 27th, and the demo that made Scoble cry.
Background of the presenter: Blaise Aguera y Arcas is an architect at Microsoft Live Labs, architect of Seadragon, and the co-creator of Photosynth, a monumental piece of software capable of assembling static photos into a synergy of zoomable, navigatable spaces.
