It sure seems like a hoax/viral thing to me. Kinda tasteless. If it's fiction, it should be a bit more obvious.

yeah my first thought was viral....Can I just ask why you consider it tasteless?

Because it causes the viewer to be afraid that someone's life is in danger. On the surface it seems that the creator is asking earnestly for help in finding his fiance. That's a cause just about anyone would get behind to help.
However, once you scratch the surface just barely you realize it's fiction.
Someone is trying to sell something (either themselves to further their career, or worse, some consumer product like Mr. Pibb or Snickers) under false pretenses.
That's lame and tasteless.
Footnote: LonleyGirl15 (or whatever she was) is a little bit different because people were drawn into her story without fearing that her life was in danger... Sure, she was fake, but people were really interested in the fake her.

Thanks...That's a valid argument, I have to say I don't really agree with your POV on this....but each to their own. :D
