Pownce is not made for Twitter-like posts. The design says as much. The space taken up by a post's box thingy takes up enough space so that it's inefficient to just go and send off one-liners.

    It allows for more content, hence more information. That's the scholary observation.

    I like a variety of message lengths on Pownce, plus the super fast mp3 and jpeg uploading, with nice eyecatching display. Twitter is good training, learn to condense and shorten and prioritize thoughts. But Pownce is more freedom and greater functionality, perfected "in reply to".

    so pownce is for crappy 10-liners? even 140 chars need more than a single line. why not post that kind of thing, since pownce is not that busy?
