Funny.. I have a stupid little minor problem with Reddit and Alexis has emailed me back personally 2 times already in 10 mins.

My friend, I the bury brigade has added you to their Christmas list!

see the thing is, if there are people who are specifically targeting my account, digg should investigate it. that's why i emailed abuse@digg.com. if they're not investigating it and not responding, then chances are that they're doing it internally. otherwise, they should own up to what's happening instead of being jackasses about it.

If they are burying you that is BS and I would not like it either.

It would be useful to have transparency when it comes to burys.

The thing I don't get is the disconnect between official 'bans' and unofficial 'autoburies.' It goes back to that old post that you wrote: if they are going to put someone or some site on autobury, they should at least have the decency to be upfront and ban them. Then at least you know what you're working with. 6 buries in a row I agree: either you're on a list they should investigate, or they're doing it themselves. Either way shame on them for not dealing with it better than they have. WTF?!

well lyndon, they won't be transparent about that. but they used to be a lot more specific when it came to why a story was buried. this is the first time they are not answering me (besides when i asked about a particular domain). when digg doesn't answer, i believe they have an agenda. otherwise, they can and should be professional about it.

again, since i'm all for fairness - they responded and said that "the community" was responsible for it... but anyway... nice of theme to listen to feedback occasionally.

First off... welcome back, kiddo! I've missed you. :-) Secondly, I have a friend here on Pownce who privately shared with me the fact that many of his stories were being buried as well, and sited the examples. I wasn't sure what to tell him, but I did mention your name and what you previously posted about stuff getting buried after you FP so many times in a row, etc. Anywho.... I know that you know you aren't alone. Sorry you aren't getting a fast or personal response from the Digg crew. That must be so frustrating, given the fact that you are one of the top Diggers - and one who brings valuable material to the Digg community.

Can you give examples? Some stuff just gets burried on digg because of the content and not the submitter. Other things get buried because of the website it is on and not the writer.

Welcome to the sidelines Tamar. :)
