I'm not familiar with them. I use Dreamhost, http://www.dreamhost.c.... It's a few dollars more a month, but you get far more server space plus a number of advanced features that you may choose to use in the future.
I haven't heard good things about 1&1, and, the plan you linked is Windows hosting. I don't recommend that, you won't be able to use all sorts of web apps. I'm on Dreamhost too, good service.
