Public Reading last week's Geeks Guide to Twitter http://en.calameo.com/... - and thinking one has to read at least some of the not well known stuff in his field to provide useful content to the community: everybody reads the mainstream news. And there's only so much you can make out of them.

Public Twitter, Digg, Facebook, FriendFeed etc are all platforms to bring your social identity on. It could be an idea to focus on only *one* of them in order to create a following, an audience or a social circle. Which of all the platforms you choose should be based on which of their demographics suits your target group best.
