Public Aside from a box of cleaning supplies I think my move may finally be over. I'm feeling the need to purge my belongings down to nothing more than what will fit in two duffel bags and a foot locker. It worked for a year in Iraq, now if I could just get my girlfriend on board with the idea.

Public It's odd how things work out sometimes. I picked up a cd today that was a backup of files from one of my old laptops. Turns out all of the stuff on there had to do with my deployment to Iraq. Just spent the last hour and a half going through old emails, journal entries, notes etc. Quite fitting for Memorial Day.

Public I realized today that somewhere along the line I started thinking of my friends as RSS feeds. Instead of grouping them by social references (work, military, home, etc) I've started grouping them by the types of data I get from them (tech, entertainment, scientific, useless knowledge etc).

Public My desk is once again a disaster area as I begin to rebuild a system. I'm going to set up eBox on an old PC to have a dedicated firewall machine rather than just using the firewall included in my wireless router.
I don't think I can disable the firewall in the wireless router so I think I may run into a couple of issues with port forwarding ...
