I've just bought a Sanyo Xacti HD1000 and a wide angle adapter, just like the dude on Flickr did. I'm warning you all that I need a cast to shoot a movie right now.

    This cam deserves every penny I've paid... It costs about 650 bucks... (lenses are cheap, no need to mention). BTW, I'm still a student, so its still a decent amount of money for me =)

    this is a pretty decent camera, best money ive spent for electronics but sony VX is the god!
    But but, if you need a handy portable camcorder, watch some sample footage from HD1000 and decide if it can work for you too.
