Agreed. I paid my pro fees mostly to support the site and see improvements, but honestly I don't think I'll do the same next year.

I got a pro account because I felt that I should support the service I use so much - and the more money they make (off pro accounts, etc), then they can hire more developers to fix things and add more features. The increased file size, custom theme and other "perks" the pro users get are just a bonus.

i don`t agre with Carolyn. supporting them just because?. that is just not right. i wish they offered true compelling reasons to have a pro account. i mean, if they tomorrow said:

Hey guys, we are going to test integrating a rss gateway and a sms gateway, but right now we will only be able to provide it for pro users while we evaluate it,etc,etc.

Even if you beta tested the service improvements, it will be compelling enough to have a pro account just because of that.

What i truly want right now is:

2.-Optional Titles for notes
3.-online indicator for users like in pownce monkey
4.-Style tags for notes (bold,italic,underline)
5.-More themes

Pro Users

6.-Better Theme Editing
7.-advanced stats
8.-Exclusive Theme elements

i think those are the things i would like the most in pownce that are easy enough to add right now without pownce bursting in flames more than it already does on a semi-regular basis

The pro features, would also make a difference from what we have right now.

i mean , it is evident that they cannot add a rss gateway and a sms gateway to pownce without crashing it for good at this moment so i think leah should further distance pownce from the rest so no one can say it is like twitter.

so, jane, i think you should wait before going pro, or better yet, don`t go pro until you truly feel it right.
