I mentioned the other day, that I am trying out Lifestream.fm and asked about what you want in a lifestreaming service. I got a lot of great answers, which were very helpful. The good news is, we bought Lifestream.fm, so now we want to work to make it what the users want. I really appreciate all of your input. The great news (at least considering me) is that my job has changed once again. I always get excited about this, when I get new tasks and get to grow more. I will not only be doing promoting lifestream.fm (already got quite a few great write ups), but I'll also get to do some community building. I am thrilled! Interacting with users is one of my favorite things to do. I really hope, that we can make it what the users want. I'll do my best trying.

    Jodi,
    When you sent your message the other day I was busy getting injections with very large needles in my back. But I think you should of checked out http://www.stickam.com it's free it capable of handling around 3000 listeners and 2200 viewers. You can record, stream live and it incorporates directly into facebook and works very well on thier as well. Some friends and I tried it out Sunday worked great with private room!!

    Well, that is just awesome...great news...I am growing to love Lifestream and find it the best of the "feed things" so far, I think I told you that but, still...

    i know stickam. i actually know them. great guys with some cool things going on. thanks for the tip, james. live streaming is not the same as lifestreaming, which is basically just aggregating the feeds from sites you use, like pownce, twitter, facebook, etc.

    yes! we need awesome t-shirts. i should mention that right now to my boss. and as you personally know, i love giving them away too.

    Jodi I misunderstood that your company bought lifestream.fm I will most vertainly check it out. There are about 16 of my facebook friends 14 of which are here in the US and Canada and to in the UK. So if we can get the same type of performance and video feed it will be great.
