I am having great fun with my new computer. And the best part is my MP3 player works with it. Ok long story.

A few months ago I ordered a new laptop for Jason. I got mine last year and he has since decided that he liked it. In the meantime, one of our household computers (specifically Chloe's ancient hand me down) took a puke. So this would allow us to go back to the status quo.

He would give her his desktop, then he would have his new laptop. I have my laptop, Trav has his desktop and we still have my desktop in the bedroom. We are a family of computer junkies and for our own sanity it has long since been decided we all need our own. Saves hours of fighting over the comp.

So got Jason's laptop, a quite nice one if I do say so. He was with me when I ordered it, he said he wanted a bigger one. (My laptop was a baby 12 incher and I liked it that way) So we got him a 15 incher. It came and the first words out of his mouth was "Its huge" (who knew what a diff 3 inches would make.)

I calmly reminded him that he wanted a bigger one, but he just thought it was too big. Jason is on the low end of the computer literacy scale. He is getting much better and has stopped asking me a crapload of "how do I do this" questions but I think the idea of Vista scared him too. Big laptop, Vista...too much change.

So he decided he would take my little laptop, I would get the new, big, elephant. Yay me...NOT! Well, I have since gotten used to my elephant. The only drawback is the new MP3 player I ordered at the same time would never work with my new laptop. Frustration, I could only use it with my desktop. (So last night I plugged it into the new one and it worked! I shrieked with joy! Doesn't take much to excite me)

One day I surfing online at Dell (an addiction. I am addicted to technology even if I don't know how to use it) and noticed they had a new line of color laptops with a hella good deal going. HUGE memory, lottsa bells and whistles.

I casually remarked it was too bad they didn't have this deal when I ordered his. Later that day he comes to me and says he sold the little laptop to his sister and I should order the pink one I wanted and he would take the one originally meant for him.

I don't get man logic!

So got my Pink laptop after a month of waiting (WHOLE other story) and now just enjoying it.
