Public A local production house called "The Rehab" recently executed a really cool project that commissioned 5 musicians to create original tracks inspired by a color (red, blue, yellow, green, black & white) ----which was the only direction given. Then the tracks were handed off to 5 very talented directors who produced the videos. I'm loving the Raveonettes interpretation of black & white.

Public I just love Arcade Fire's "Neon Bible" music video [directed by Vincent Moon, who I hope to work with someday] which is all shot inside an elevator claustrophobic-style. It's truly amazing. I especially love the guy in the back ripping magazine pages as percussion.

Public I just read this article about these two graduate students at MIT's School of Architecture who are working on a project to harness the mechanical energy of people walking or jumping (like commuters in a train station or people at a concert) into a source of electricity. They call it the "Crowd Farm". What an interesting idea! Check out the article for details on how it would work:
