It sucks to design a page in 'quirks" mode, like it, finish it, make it work in O,FF and IE7 and then realizing that it won't be that easy to make it standard compliant.
Lesson learned.

That's the problem is that browser is different. Depends what the site is for. But IMHO I would design it work best in IE7 (since most people use the dafault browser), then FF then O. You can design a webpage to be 100% compliant in all three, but it would have to be a 'bare bones' site.
