    She cried because she is watching tv and on tv, they only show Israel under the bombings and where suicide attacks are frequent. I tried to explain to her it wasn't dangerous anymore, but nothing works!

    Plus I just applied, which doesn't mean I'll get the job :) (it's a volunteer position as Officer for Scientific development at the French embassy in Tel Aviv)

    Your mum seems to worry a lot about you ... it's normal ;) ... you should tell her that everything gonna be alright, you would call her every day !!
